........William Johnson's career bagan as a child drawing as a hobby. "I could'nt tell you how old I was when I started because I have been creating as far back as I can remember".

Early inspiration

.......Born in Queens, New York William Johnson began drawing at a very yound age inspired by the city he lived in. "New York is a mecca and a very dynamic city." said William. This environment became the subject matter of his art work as a young boy.

.......In the City one of William' childhood sources of inspiration and subject matter for drawing was the subway system. "The subways at that time where very rugid and with dim lighting ". The transit system was neglected during this time. "Sometimes I found motivation from strange sources such as this". added William.

Queens N.Y.

.......In 1989 William's southeast Queens neighborhood saw a spike in crime in particular buglary and robery. "We were burglarized often".said William "Three neighborhood kids even used crow bars to steal my bicycle out of my garage in addition to the home invasions. he added. Neighbors never reported any suspicious activity to the local police department. "They always cliamed they never saw anything"said William ". "It truly was,nt a bad neighborhoodbut this was out of control " he explains William.

.....A As the home invasions continued his family considered moving all together. One day after returning from a family trip William found his house had been broken into once again.. "They ramsacked the house ruthlessly , ate our food and stole what they could." he sad. " This made my father explode" added William Eventually William and his family had to relocated in 1992.

......After moving New Jersey William's Things changed . "I started making three deimensional sculptures".

.......William attended an area college and graudauted in 2005 with a degree in graphic art. After graduating from franklin High School in 2001 William took up graphic arts in collge. His main objective was yo develope avenues of promoting his work such a websites like this one." It was the best way to complement what I do."says Johnson. "My work goes beyond drawing on a flat surface." " I take concepts and develelop them into reality" he added.

.........SprayWear founded by William Johnson started colllege fund raising event for a campus dance group. "In the beggining I started creating clothing for myself to promote the fundraiser".explianed William. Johnson began creating clothing out of his parents basement and area parks. "I choose the parks becuase it made me visable to clients" added William.

.........From there William luanched a website in 2005. "One of the best things about this is watch the people reaction while I making there shirt or when they receive a shirt" he said. William opened two T-shirt stands for summer months one he moved back to New York City. One located on 42nd Street Times Square and on fulton street in Downtown Brooklyn. He aslo set up headquarters in the sunset park section of Brooklyn NY.
